Member Registration Update – Effective September 20, 2025
Beginning September 20, 2025, providers will be able to complete member registration online via Availity. Providers will no longer need to email or fax forms. All available funds can be requested at the time of the registration in Availity.
To get started, log into Availity > select Washington from the drop-down menu on the Availity homepage > select the Carelon Behavioral Health Payer Space to get started. See our Client / Member Registration Guide for more information.
Carelon Behavioral Health, Inc. is the Behavioral Health Administrative Services Organization (BH-ASO) in three Washington regions: Southwest, North Central, and Pierce County.
Carelon Behavioral Health has developed a network of providers to deliver services to individuals under its contract with the Washington Health Care Authority.

Through the Provider Digital Front Door, you can access key platforms like Availity e ProviderConnect – all designed to support your day-to-day administrative and clinical needs.
With the Provider Digital Front Door, you can:

To access our Provider Digital Front Door, providers must be registered with Availity Essentials.

Providers who are not yet registered with Availity, can learn more, and sign up today, at no charge by visiting Availity.com.
If you are an existing user, an administrator or non-administrator, you already have an Availity user account, there is no need to create a new user account.
Each office staff member who needs access to the portal should have their own unique login credentials.

Provider User Registration
Good news! Providers no longer need to fax in the ProviderConnect Online Services Account Request Form to request login credentials for ProviderConnect.
This form is currently used to:
- Request primary user login credentials
- Request secondary user login credentials
- Authorize Carelon to receive and process claims electronically
What’s changing:
You can now submit login requests using the online registration form – no more paperwork or faxing!
This change is part of our ongoing efforts to make registration quicker and easier for you and your team.
